I recall that at the end of each year, Sea of Thieves used to provide statistics such as the number of times you sank, the number of cannons fired, and other similar metrics. I haven't visited the website in quite some time and have noticed many changes, including the introduction of the "My Pirate" tab. Is there any possibility that we could see the return of these statistics? Additionally, could we have a permanent link to view these running numbers throughout the year?
End of year summary
End of the year haven't really gone anywhere, they've mainly become some pretty random stats that don't help stat collectors out much at all.
Overview stats left (without notice) around the time Captaincy was released.
I was fortunate in that I kept a record for years so I carried over stats from overview stats into Captaincy stats but not many were that lucky so they are pretty much just gone.
Gotta just stick with pirate/ship milestones. I dunno if they have access to that data anymore for long time pirates but even if they still do I doubt it's even close to accurate anymore because of tracking issues/bugs/etc.
Captaincy/milestones mostly work for current activity for most players. It's not perfect but it does help people out quite a bit.
@xziraider it’s only a temporary thing that stays around at the end of the year. 5 months and you’ll have your annual stats again.
I'd like more "fun" stats in there.
Examples;
How many times you've vomited on pirates from another crew.
The value of "stolen" treasure you've sold.
How many emissary flags you've sold.
How many times you've one-balled a pirate.
Etc.
But also stats for the guild. I feel guild stats could be fun to see.@th3-tater said in End of year summary:
Does anyone know if that trick still works to show the stats on the website? We used to be able to see some things here and it went away, but you could still access it....
Nah it stopped just under a year and a half ago.
