The FOV on PC is too low compared to what is considered standard for desktop play. Like many games, SoT mixes up the concept of 'horizontal' vs 'vertical' vs 'diagonal' FOV, resulting in an unusually low maximum FOV compared to what players are used to.
As I'm sure many people have pointed out, desktop play demands higher maximum FOV due to the display being closer to the player's eyes. Lower FOV is suitable for couch play due to the distance between the player's eyes and the display.
Proposal 1: Use proper FOV calculations to provide a more standard experience (i.e. make 90 FOV look like 90 FOV)
Proposal 2: Increase the maximum FOV to allow players to have more control over how their game looks. I consider this a workaround and not an ideal solution but guys, it's changing 1 single variable.
