Validated install, it ran once, after finishing game crashed. Now it just keeps stating that the anti-cheat is not installed. Validated that as well. Less than a week into the game, this feels a tad off. Anyone else having this issue?
Anti-Cheat issue

Did that, had to go manual install so I know it completed and ran once, then the game itself crashed, after verifying everything is installed, in place and validated it still says the AC is not installed, sorry should have been clearer. Still not working, have a ticket in for this. (PC steam user)

Ok, took 3 installs of EASY AC to get it to take. Gonna let support know that's what it took and close ticket. Thanks for the reply RealStyli.
Yeah, that's actually good intel, that it can take a few tries to work. Support may need to add that as a note at the bottom of that page.

Similar issue here, game crashed at first giving me the 'EAC detected local file integrity vioaltion: Unknown file version' error.
Validated the install and now I get the EAC not installed error. There's a lot of stuff to iron out!
Do any of you having issues with EAC have any other games that use EAC and do those work? Maybe the EOS version specifically? I think maybe Rust uses it.
Might be worthwhile checking the EAC support site to see if any symptoms appear there: https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/game/guides/installer/
There are pages for Hardware verification, checking for rootkits, reading the log files, etc... that might help.
@d3adst1ck Diablo is fine. Elden ring is fine.
I have the day off & just finished a 3 hr sesh with an old sot buddy I haven't played with in a min.
No hazelnuts for either of us. I'm pc/steam he's on Xbox (series s I think).
I played a few times on Sunday and I think I had 3 hazelnuts over both sessions. Another pc friend (I think MS version) had hazelnut every time we started an event, dove to an event, dove in HG, and had folks dive on us.
Edit: realized after posting that this was regarding the game not starting up, not crashing after run. My mistake.

same issue with xbox app on pc. i do not have steam but still receiving this error. i can not play this game.what an update ?!?!!
For those on the MS Store/Xbox App version, try the support page solution but instead of going through steps 1 and 2 to find the Installer .exe, go to whatever drive you have Sea of Thieves installed on and the folder XboxGames\Sea of Thieves\Content\Installers (e.g. C:\XboxGames\Sea of Thieves\Content\Installers)
Then continue from step 3.
It may take a few attempts but, if successful, there will be an EasyAntiCheat_EOS folder within your Program Files (x86) folder.

New player here. I'm experiencing this issue on Steam version.
Apologies if this is not the format for this forum. Internet Search yielded going to Properties, then Installed Files and then Verifying the Integrity of Files.
