I understand that the devil roar is supposed to be dangerous, with all the volcano, and that it's normal for them to be going off from time to time. But the one on fetcher's rest is clearly not normal. When i was doing caches in duo(not sure of the english name, but it's the gold quests with the keys), we had the time to do one and a half cache before the volcano set off again (and we were not waiting between caches), which often meant that i was leaving the cache sooner to take care of the boat. I am pretty sure that the volcano was off a fourth of the time, and at regular intervals (which i'm pretty sure isn't normal either).
Another alternative would be to stop the volcano from exploding when a cache is active (which is maybe already the case on ashen reaches, because i never saw a volcano explode on this island, and i did a lot of cache there too). It's already a bit too problematic when in duo, as you basically need to end up solo, but it's even worse when you are solo, as you can't really leave the cache unless you already collected everything, meaning that the only thing keeping your boat alive is the mighty rng god.
Nerf fetcher's rest volcano
Might have messed up along with the megs not attacking, seemed to start happening at the same time.
I think it's at least 3 of the new ashen athena voyage islands that are doing it because flintlock and ruby's have been feisty lately too.
or maybe it's just how they want them, never really know between bugs and silent changes in sot.
I stacked 6 or 7 ashen vaults there a week or two ago and the volcano didn't go off once. Wonder if they changed it. Like you say though unless you're solo it's not a massive deal as one can continue moving loot while other ensures ship is OK.
More annoying is an earthquake mid vault. Ps I'm not going back I hate the roar, it was a random lfg and I did report the exploit for easy stacks 😅
