Have guild reputation requirements scale with the size of the guild so that it’s a lot easier to level up with a small crews and requires more rep for bigger guilds.

I could see guilds getting the captaincy treatment but who knows
Personally I think the grind for anyone should be casual at most and just focus on supporting people creating communities of people that want to be around each other just for the sake of being around each other
This is a piece of content where I think the more casual the better, incorporate casual in game rewards and events for guilds.
This could be a highly successful community builder without the grind imo.
Guilds get pretty irrelevant as the next few months go on, other than to the people that take them very seriously, might as well open it up for everyone to truly use as a tool for meaningful connections, imo
