in-game report system, an option without evidence for easier reporting of cheaters
can be used as a tool for investigation rather than banning but would be so handy for people who don't know how, or can't find a good way to record etc because there are a tonne of issues with the website version of things

@xim5346 the evidence is needed otherwise it’s up for abuse just to spam report everyone giving the Rare team more work. Not a good idea.
@goldsmen True, but asking for players to record and send evidence is like police asking people to arrest criminals and gather evidence so they can come and collect them and drop them at court. It just wouldn't work and only small % would get actually prosecuted...I wonder if it's the same case here.
If Rare are under Xbox and Sot Is Xbox and you can record last 30seconds? Right? Perhaps in this modern day they could find a way to have this recording somehow actively running in the background and if you press send report, it would record the last 30 seconds of the game? Abusing it for no reason, would still allow you to do it, but you would get a silent 'ignore'.

I have thought of a sort of shadow record system, some games do already do stuff like that, but sot already seems to be under a lot of strain without recording and deleting the pov of every player in the server. And it would absolutely have to be built into the game its self rather than just through xbox since not everyone is playing on xbox directly, so steam users and xbox app users would force the recording system to be in the game directly.
If rare does get a grasp on some of their issues and get the game running smoothly again, something like this could work, but for the time being i dont think the game is capable of it.
@goldsmen Perhaps a good enough reason to finally drop the console from a decade ago if this would help the game? ^^ Obviously I have no idea about technical side of things, but sounds reasonable to believe this.
