This is gonna seem odd, my friends/team can hear me but I can’t hear them but when my friends use the speaking trumpet
I still can’t hear them unless they turn it around and speak into the big end I believe this is called whisper but not exactly sure. I have changed my Xbox privacy to allow for everything except showing my real name, I have changed almost everything in the audio settings of the game the same as my team that don’t have this issue and nothing has changed. All help is appreciated! (Btw I’m on PC if that changes anything).
Having issues hearing crew
Hello, make sure to have right setup of output devices (eg. not a surrond sound for pair of speakers). This ensures the audio is not played in inactive channel (eg. you might not hear back-left channel if you have connected just left and right).
Also make sure there are no audio effects (hallway, concert hall) or other equalizer setting enabled (eg. setup to filter out voice frequencies cause voice to be distorted and barely audible).If none of this helps, try to disable other output devices (not uninstall, just disable in hardware list). Chances are SoT picks different hardware for different channels (for example you can hear Discord perfectly well, but no game effects as those are streamed to different, muted device).
If none of this helps, test audio in xbox party and check voice audio levels. I've seen some cases about friends accidentally muting one another which prevented them to hear each other in game, even though there were no issues with other crews online.
