I’m on Xbox trying to purchase ancient coins and it won’t let me from in game. So I went to buy them from the Microsoft store and when I went to log in they weren’t there so I had to refund how do I fix this issue

You have to use the same platform for buying ancient coins as playing the game.
People who play on Steam won't have access to coins bought via xbox &c.
You only have to play (or log in) once to get them added, so if you know someone IRL who plays SoT on windows, you could ask if you could login on his PC once. Or if you can get your hands on a free or almost free pass or so, so you can play for almost nothing and get your coins.
How to buy for Xbox I wouldn't know, isn't there a store there ?
You'll have to message Microsoft support for this one, unfortunately Sea of Thieves devs don't handle much to do with this. I think the coins may appear in your inventory possibly in a few hours, and it could just be lag? But to get a refund you'll have to send an email or raise a ticket with the Microsoft Xbox team. I wish you the best of luck that you can get your money back or find your Ancient Coins!
