Honestly, let them be sold empty or not. We can sell the ghostly version of the supply crate (empty or not), so just let us sell it period and make it the same as the ghostly version of the same item.

If the goal would be to have less clutter on the server then why not be able to sell the ones that you bought like the cannonball and wood crates to a different trader?

The selling price should be much less than the purchase price and in line with the other purchasable crates in this respect.

I think storage crates should be like portable clones of the storage chest found on rowboats with the same limitations.

And I definitely agree that regular storage crates should be able to be sold.

They are a qol item, considering all they are really for is soaking up supplies and storing them easier, reducing the cap of them wont add any more challenge, it will just mean more trips to gather up resources, and just wasting more time, considering the ships barrels are functionally bottomless, it doesnt exactly make storage crates op, just convenient to have.
