The Pigpen cipher is key to get the fruit code...do we know for sure which pigpen cipher to use? There are more than one! In standard pigpen, the letters are written over two grids and two crosses. By changing the order of grids, you can make a cipher that looks like simple pigpen but will take a little longer to decrypt. For example, rather than using the standard grid, grid, X, X, you could switch to grid, X, grid, X or X, grid, X grid.
The symbols have both single and double dots plus the X grid.

SO I cam up with this I don't know if it changes anything.
Using a Vigenere Cipher with the keyword "Bounty" this is the result
DKHPNBASLITDLLXI = BOUNTYGOLDYPIRATE
Blaise de Vigenère was a French cryptographer and diplomat who lived from 1523 to 1596. He was responsible for developing the Vigenère cipher. He was not a artist for paintings as the clue vaguely mentions
When I decipher DKHPNBASLITDLLXI with "Bounty" I get CWNCUDZERVAFKXDV and not BOUNTYGOLDYPIRATE.
I used this: https://www.dcode.fr/vigenere-cipherSo hiw did you get BOUNTYGOLDYPIRATE?
@kattmama21 There's also the La Buse cryptogram. It's not pigpen, but it is almost the exact same thing except with a change in where letters sit and it also adds a way for numbers to exist in the cipher. It was used by a famous pirate, Olivier Levasseur, to hide his treasure. While I think they intend for pig pen to be used, I definitely don't think it's off the table for pig pen variations to exist that may work better
@zia-games I've been bringing this up for a few pages now, especially considering that Rare specifically mentioned La Buse in their mystery announcement. Maybe it's a coincidence, but maybe not. (And, for what it's worth, his cipher was definitely a pigpen).
@tangus-00 I think it could definitely be a lead. I just couldn't find anything with it yesterday. I may take another look today and see if there's any other connections I can make
Ok, the fruit code I get with the La Buse pigpen cipher method is HCP DIQ BTE ITD NUAA. It would make sense to plug that into the "french", Vigenere Cipher using the key word "BOUNTY" but I am doing it wrong cause I get JIBERISH! AAAGH! HELP! Oh wait...what if we change the keyword BOUNTY to french which is PRIME?
This has got to be part of it.
"Croch" is a reference to the banana weapon skins set? Idk
@blackhart04 had a look through the whole forum and I think people have decided following it was a dead end

"Cronch" is an alternative form of crunch, such as how coconuts can crunch
Yes i went to sea dogs rest found a note that lead me to a red shell then to the water to a glowing red chest and found a lanturn but doesnt do anything.....@fearedrav3n
@realstyli - what if we are trying to see something out of nothing? what if the dice means we are on the 1st puzzle and there are 3 more?? Also there are a total of 4 books, 1 which the character is writing in while the other 3 are on the table??
So I guess at the moment people are stuck trying to figure out how to LINK the pigpen symbols with "bounty" found on Spotify.
It makes sense that they are linked because the Spotify symbol was found on the fruit images with the pigpen symbols, and the "bounty" was found via pictures on Spotify. You know, those pictures that should be paintings words.
There are for sure a bunch of different ways to interpret how the pigpen symbols should be read. It differs based on how you mirror the symbols. People have even used professional decryption programs, but no one has found a way that makes sense.
I guess other than trying to figure out how to become better than professional code breakers who have made computer programs, my other option left is to wonder if "bounty" is really the word we are suppose to find. Or if somehow the pigpen fruit symbols lead to another website that no one has figured out yet. Which would be odd considering all the people working on this.
I even checked the fruit crate on the Instagram page to make sure that was mirrored the same way it would be in game, and it is. So I'm all out of ideas at the moment.
Even though this is frustrating, I do like how no one has been able to figure it out for over a day now. Whoever does is going to feel like Einstein.

I may be an idiot... but this is what I got with the Pigpen cipher.. BQD PNB ASL ITD LLXI. Am I doing it wrong?
Not necessarily. You can get different variations depending on how you rotate the cards. The problem is that none of the variations have yielded any further results.
I don't know if anyone's mentioned this yet but if you use the pigpen string "DKHBNRASLITDGYJJ" as a bit.ly link it takes you to a youtube video for the song Tu Trouveras by Natasha St-Pier. I've no idea if it's relevant and figured it was probably just a coincidence but if you add a + to the end of the bit.ly link (https://bit.ly/DKHBNRASLITDGYJJ+) it shows the link was only made yesterday which makes it seem more likely that it does have something to do with all this.
I have absolutely no idea what to make of it though as I'm apparently way too smoothbrain for this puzzle :D
@fancychattox I followed the link and it brings me to a random video where I got rickrolled from a user in the comment section of the video lol.
"You Will Find Bounty" sounds promising but it doesn't really point anywhere and it doesn't seem to be a valid code :(
