@dezertigel Remember, Arthur Pendragon's last name is like Uther Pendragon (or his son, King Arthur), who was a MONARCH (who is a king).
Mystery [Mega Thread]
Here's info on Ser Arthur Pendragon that I found interesting.
Pendragon was once a prince of an unknown kingdom. During his time in the Sea of Thieves, he was given the Sword of Souls by Madame Olivia and was considered the "Champion" of the Order of Souls. During one of his quests, Pendragon fought with Greymarrow who sealed Pendragon's soul in a painting on his ship, the Blackwyche.
He's not a king, but he is part of ROYALTY (maybe he was next in line for the throne possibly of the kingdom he was from), which I did not know.

For what it’s worth, one SOT wiki says at Port Merrick, Sovereign MARGOT is (aka H). She used to be a Pirate.
Anyone can add to wiki . Just saying
If Pendragon is part of this, could there be a connection to the Sea of Thieves Origins: Champion of Souls Book?
People found GRUDG3 connected to the Price of Gold story when Humphrey wrote to Rathbone, maybe Arthur's origin is important as well?
ALSO they just started tweeting about that book yesterday! Coincidence?
Here is a summary of H's new note:
To start, all the coins and the starting word of each phrase stayed the same. Each line also had the same number of letters. Regarding what was actually mentioned in the note, it stated that we should look for a simple word, and then see what comes afore it before solving the rest of the puzzle. Since the last few hints have been directing us to the word search puzzle, and we have gotten Aforecloud from the puzzle so far, it seems logical to assume the "simple word" is some kind of cloud that is within the word search puzzle. We do not know if said cloud appears in varying forms or not, and it seems safe to assume that said cloud(s) will appear multiple times in the puzzle and can be referred to physically (which could include a cloud of fog, not just a cloud in the sky) and metaphorically (such as clouding one's judgement). We also do not know how the cloud(s) and spelled out in the puzzle. Some types of clouds have been found in the crossword, although whether or not they are simple words is debatable. I myself am looking into the possibility of the cloud(s) referring to or being referred to by pigpen symbols. So far, solving the word search seems to be a matter of trial and error. Regarding the rest of the puzzle, some people have found ways to connect the symbols to the map, but no proven ways to connect the coins as well. I speculate that since Horace has yet to be used, it will be used with the solution to the word search, which will give us enough information to solve the rest of puzzle. I hope this helps, and happy puzzle solving to everyone.
@armydad89 So true, unfortunately, this feels more complicated despite H saying its a toddler's puzzle. I guess a toddler can use pig pen ciphers, maps and such?
The previous stages were fun but this is insane and really feels like Ready Player One. lol
Probably won't help here, but another name for Monarch is Sovereign, which is also a type of Coin which would have been in use during the approximate time frame that the game takes place in.
@impymidna2303 the wordsearch answer is easy apparently... discord couldn't find anything with cirrus and sol... i tried using "find me" hint and used the ME in themed... reads ME both forwards and reverse and the word afore was THE... got gibberish... used THEM with it instead and got LEAFEM... one anagram result only... FEMALE... went down a rabbit hole and came out the other side feeling like i got gang banged in prison... if RARE are going down the woke girl power path I ended up with SUFFRAGE CLAN... But the one thing positive to throw everything on it's head... H might be a woman... Nobody has thought of that yet...
@ozzv76 So H is a girl who hates the Gold Hoarders, but what if H is a letter they are using to hide their real name? Also, could she be Annalee from the Price of Gold? What if she got the gold curse after receiving Rathbone's gold from Humphrey, it could explain why some of the photos has pictures of him with scribbled faces or the portrait of him with red pain all over it.
Though her name doesn't have an H, there are no characters in Sea of Thieves that have their names starting with H except
Hogarth the Hoarder - Has not yet appeared in game.
Henry the Hoarder
Herbert the Hoarder
Horace the Hoarder
Humphrey the Hoarder
Hugh the Hoarder
Harry the Hoarder
Hyde the Hoarder
Wild Henry
Hendrick - Merrick's BrotherThere's also Humerus from the Reaper's lair, he's no Gold Hoarder, but hey his name starts with an H.
@impymidna2303 RARE has said it's a new character to the game I think... Hogarth the most logical... but also a great spin to the story and relevant to our times with the gender divide... As they say "art imitates life" (i think... lol)
I might be going crazy, but WHAT IF you made the Star Map transparent and place it over the letters posted with the gold coins that surround the paper and rotate it to see something? The STAR MAP has SYMBOLS AND DIRECTIONS, the LETTERS might play a role in all of this and not just the ones with the coins!
@impymidna2303 Yeah i recommended something similar but was ignored... Turning it 123 degrees (coin total)... They don't pay any attention to new people with opposing ideas...
@ozzv76 Then maybe it should be given a try because MAYBE the Star map can be placed over the current new post and see what we get from it if we rotate the thing and also make the FOUR SQUARE MAP into a 3D globe instead of it being flat??
Also I FOUND somebody was already doing it on Youtube, the guys channel is Theunfiredpistol, and he made 8 clue videos that were posted days ago.
I appreciate what everyone is trying to do regarding the map and symbols, but shouldn't we focus on the word search as the last hint from the sea of thieves official account and the first part of the new note mentioned solving the word search before we do the rest. So far trying to solve the rest of the puzzle without the word search solution has been like trying to log onto a computer that has no keyboard (I know there is touch screen and other features, but you get the idea). Given the ambiguity of the clues regarding the word search, it will take more than one person to solve as there will have to be some process of elimination.

What does this have to do with the mystery? Ready player one or wine critic from Australia?
