Mystery [Mega Thread]

  • @impymidna2303 I know most of them but a few are faint because I barely saw them.

  • 14down 17across X = TORIXSART (traitors)
Something to do with the 8 letters surrounding the 6 x’s ?
    Hexapods(8 letters) are six legged

A Hexapod is the SCARAB that has six legs.

    Find ME theMEd in disgust

Is Crook's Hollow where we find H?

WAIT, is it WILD HENRY one of the cargo dealers!? Or his father who's also named Henry???

Description - Henry seems to share quite a bit in common with maybe a dog, as he has a fascination with bones (even once ate one) and claims to have spread fleas.

1 . Henry says that he was told to stay on Crook's Hollow, but it's unclear by whom.
2 . Henry seems to be a little confused about who Henry is.

  • @impymidna2303 Maybe.

  • @volk7845 Its small percentage, and we still have to look at Lost Gold Fort thats in the ancient isles where the Boar and Scarab are. Plus, I think we're looking for a guy who has a grudge and hates the Gold Hoarders, not a crazy guy. But who knows. lol

  • @impymidna2303 Yeah who knows.

    Any good to anybody?

  • Really wished I can see how this current letter pieces everything together, all its doing is making me have more thoughts even though it says its just one simple word. lol

Even that part of H's letter that started the Crowning Glory says

on land and sea and sky,
I’ll lead you on a chase and your expectations I’ll defy.

This shouldn't be that hard, I mean, it took everyone FIVE YEARS to solve the clues in the book, Ready Player One to find the Golden Easter Egg. lol

  • I'd be laughing so hard, if the Banjo easter egg (or Sleeping Bear) on the Chest Picture was the right lead after all this time. lol

  • Edit and repost... When we find the word... And the afore word... What next? What's the consensus? Chuck it in the 4square? Then anagram if needed... But what then? What is the next step? It should provide a link between symbols, map, and note... So placing the map over the corresponding symbol on the picture and then following directions by number of words in the sentence... Is that the consensus? But what about the coins?

  • I like this a lot, but how do you know where the starting point is? N8. Is that go north 8 grids from somewhere or is N8 the first grid to start with on the map.

@capt-cacto said in Mystery [Mega Thread]:

Referring to the new letter: "Nights have passed and you still all struggle..."

I think this is somehow telling us Booty Isle is important.

    Evidence:

    • First letter and length of line: N8, W6, N6, E8, S9, E4, S6, E4, N5, W2, N7, E3, N6, E3
    • Simplified you must go N17, E14
    • Starting at Tribute Peak and working backwards (S17, W14) brings you to Booty Isle
    • Sea Of Thieves Official Twitter account posted a #sundayvibes of Booty Isle this past weekend

Information from Booty Isle that could be relevant:

Booty Isle has a Glitterbeard journal on it talking about his first voyage with Ritchie (whoever that is but I do not think is important in this case) and turning the chest in to Herbert

  • I'm a little surprised that we haven't been getting tons of comments on the thread, guessing the ones who post here or on Rarethief are the ones sharing what they discovered, while others are possibly keeping to themselves on what they discovered. And it still feels like alot of stuff has been found but not much is being updated in the Merfolk's Lullaby Hoarder's Hunt Mystery Board.

Wishing we can work together and make it a race for the prizes while also getting the in game stuff as well. The Defaced Sails look cool to have!

Also we got 7 days left and I hope H's new post isn't the last clue they are posting (even though it feels like it is).

  • @impymidna2303 Check the Sea of Thieves Mystery Chat on Discord. It stays pretty active all hours.

  • @x-twiztid-jay-x seems like they're just all chatting and don't want to engage in discussion...

  • @ozzv76 They probably do, although this is the final hunt, thought it would be alot of posts minute by minute. lol

    Any good to anybody?

Further to this handy picture. In the first post that said find me H and had the compass directions on the triangles.

  • @st1gzee and even further the symbols pictured nsew are the shores of gold vaults

  • @st1gzee This might come in handy for anyone who knows what to do with stars and map.

  • @st1gzee

Compass directions indicating the order in which the answers from the various puzzles go into the custom PigPen Cipher?

So Monarch, Horace, Eagle, Snakes, S... etc. ?

Only reason why I include Horace as part of it is because it technically counts at part of the answer.

Speaking of, and this is for all, where did that extra S come from in the Merfolk's Lullaby board?

  • @impymidna2303 i also notice these symbols pictured nsew are on the chest photo too
I was hoping you would solve that lol

  • @corvusgarrett The S is supposed to be the next word and not "SNAKES", could be any of the symbols from the chest picture that start with S. I think it's also in the word search where people found it.

  • How did HitboTC come up with Shark Fin Camp from AFORECLOUD?

  • @maddogchloe "Wrecked upon hoarders peak" in the tweet from SkullCannonBall

  • could each X on the word search correspond to one of the gold hoarders or where they went?

  • Two findings:

    1. The great warrior is not in H's map
    2. H's map cardinal directions are all over the place compared to the rare thief map (I do not know if that matters but I think H was a little of their rocker when they made the map)

    alt textalt text

  • @capt-cacto if you take A4, and then seek it on the map from puzzle 3, it points at shark fin camp.

  • I think that's a red herring

  • I am not buying into the shark fin camp story then... I do not think you need previous puzzles to solve this one

  • Monarch could be refer to Pendragon ?

  • For what it’s worth, one SOT wiki says at Port Merrick, Sovereign MARGOT is (aka H). She used to be a Pirate.

  • @gshemuga
That seems random...is there any evidence to back up the Wiki's claim? Otherwise, it may just be someone fooling around.

  • Here are two things I noticed.
    Aforecloud
    Afore cloud
We’re looking for something before a cloud? One of the letters seemed to confirm this.
Also, you can make coordinates with the sentences and coins on the h sees all note. The letter at the start of the sentence plus the number of words and the side of the paper the group of coins is on and number of coins.

  • @expertknot447

Running theory is AFORECLOUD points to cirrus with the afore being either SHIP or KETTYSHIP as it is before the word cirrus in crossword

KETYSHIP into four square cipher gives an anagram for THA LONE GUY. Which may or may not be something

Curious on your coordinate idea on how to use. We do have an overlay of map and constellations…how do you use the coins?

  • @bonavoxmac can you explain further how you went from KETTYSHIP to THA LONE GUY? I do not understand how to decipher anagrams or how they work
