Galleons door.

  • For the Galleon i was thinking we could add a key to lock the door, as it makes it easier for the players to protect there loot. And if pirates wanted to steal it it would take wither 2-3 hits with a cannonball (on the door) or a keg to blow it up.

For all the ships i was also thinking of jackladders. Give those sweats a challenge cause its annoying for us players when we try to board we either ram them, or get shot off/killed while climbing the ladder. Jackladders are used to swing to the enemy ship when in close combat. I think it would be better for all players within the sea of thieves.

  • @wrcrazyhorse seems kinda pointless, if youre keeping loot in captains cabin you're pretty new anyway and it will all float up when you sink. I know people grab the odd athena for memes but most crews just sink you.

Also why should the ship with the largest crew get additional 'protection'

  • @hiradc because why not, and im not new ive played for 5 years lol

  • @wrcrazyhorse you can play for long time and still be new. All your suggestions are from a very skewed and singular viewpoint. I can't claim I'm not biased but I do try to look from other points of view before I make suggestions about balance and fairness. I doubt 'Why not' will cut it with dev team 😅

  • Ahoy matey. I like yer idea about keys to Captain quarters/cabin. It would be nice to lock yer own cabin as for role playing and, maybe, as a challenge for sneaky boarders. However, the key then must be hidden somewhere on the ship or carried by captain to keep it safe, and such function must be allowed only on Captain's Ship, otherwise it wouldn't work the way ye've describe it, matey.
Also, about the key, ye will able to get it by killing captain or finding it amoung the trinkets on him ship or in barrels, etc.
Now, jackladders, I don't fink it is necessary. Why we need a jackladders if we have a BLUNDERBUSS!

  • Yes. And lockable.

For speed and convenience I should be able to lock up my best loot.

Even tho they're just going to sink you for supps anyways now.

  • I do not care about locking it. I just wanna be able to close it and feel cozy in my cabin while the waves crash outside.

  • @selgewick thank you for responding, and yea! I didnt really manage to get into details because i was working. But you wrote what i was going to!
