One frustration I have is trying to figure out what world event is currently active on a server I just spawned in to, or what new event spawned after I clear an event. More often than not looking to the sky doesn't actually help as the event indicator is hidden by weather or another obstruction.
The exception here is the Fort of Fortune. As soon as you spawn in to a server with an active FoF, or a FoF spawns on your server, you know immediately that this is the case due to a distinct audio cue.
My suggestion is simple:
Add a unique audio queue to every world event that triggers the same times that the FoF audio queues trigger (on joining the server and on event start).
This would allow players to learn the audio queues and know what world event is active or just spawned.
