Hey hey!
I'm having an odd issue where every time I change a setting in-game, upon closing and re-opening Sea of Thieves, its been reset to what it was before I chaged it (as if it's stuck on the settings I used almost a year ago). For the record, I play on Steam, have verified the integrity of my game files and have reinstalled the game twice. If anyone has a fix I would greatly appreciate it :D
Step 1: Take note of all your settings (I recommend just screenshotting everything)
Step 2: Reset every setting to default at the bottom of each page
Step 3: Quit and relaunch the game
Step 4: Painstakingly reapply all your settings
Step 5: Relaunch the game again
I recently put in a bug report for the Milestone Notifications settings not saving... that turned out to be an actual bug, which they are now looking into, but Rare Support had me do the above in order to determine that.
In their response they said:
When having issues with your game settings not saving, reverting all settings to default will normally solve the issue.
So I expect that would be their advice if you were to submit a ticket.
