I would like to ask the development team, what is the situation with the anti-cheat? With the release of the new chest I started to meet too many cheaters on the servers. And record 2 hours of gameplay in order to capture 10 seconds of cheating I do not intend to. If before it was only a problem in pvp, now 70% of the players I encounter are using software. I understand that I'm too strong and it's hard to sink me without additional software, but still I would like to have fair battles at sea.
Most importantly give me an answer when to expect the release of anti cheat, or better give this answer to yourself, because if you do not start doing something soon, you will begin to lose players. If everything is too complicated, just show my message to the CEO of the company, I think it will speed up the release of anti cheat by about 1000 times.
P.S. Dear moderator, I know that when you see the word "cheater" you want to close the topic because someone convinced you that it will help your game, but I would like to assure you that closing this thread will not fix the situation at sea.

@ixxxoloff my crewmate and I are encountering blatant cheaters in every other HG match, it’s ridiculous.
Crews teleporting their ship outside of the circle so they get guaranteed win, flying with kegs, aimbot, auto boarding.
I’m sick of wasting endless hours reporting, when Rare could so easily have a presence on servers and witness it themselves.The amount of cheating has also migrated to the main game, this was particularly obvious on Community Weekend. We’re both Day 1 players, so can easily differentiate between a great player and a cheat.
The purpose of these forums is to enable users to air their frustrations/give feedback. Yet, if anyone dares to mention the ‘C’ word (that’s cheating, not c***), they’re met with attempts to shut down the topic, or told that it doesn’t happen often.
It would be a lot more encouraging if Mods/Devs responded positively, reassuring players (the ones who have made this game a success) that they acknowledge the issue. Players should be questioned or silenced on this issue, doing so will kill the game for a lot of players.
Looking at profiles of recent cheats, they are very new accounts, suggesting they have already had their main account banned. A new account can be up and running immediately, and so the circle continues.

I don't think that's true. I've played Sea of Thieves a lot over the past few years and I've only come across one person who was obviously cheating in Adventure. It may look like they are using some sort of cheat, but that is usually not the case.
Also, your wording makes it sound like Rare doesn't really care about the cheating problem, and that's definitely not true. You can't make these things public, because by the time you do, the hackers may already be working on a workaround.

We have a zero tolerance approach to any form of in-game hacking or cheating.

Meanwhile, if you suspect people of cheating, please report them to our Customer Support team and do not forget to provide some graphic/audio evidence. Here is a guide on how to do it.
