I think the storm could form at random times like a cyclone. This way we could have weather conditions that wouldn't be confused with the storm. I would like to see some rainy weather that doesn't send my ship out of control, or maybe some snow flurries.
Get rid of the storm!!! Add weather conditions.
@tek-lt I love your idea of different weather conditions. The storm is just an annoyance at this point. I had a faction battle in the storm and it made me want to pull my hair out. I would love to see snow storms or blizzards that transform parts of the server. I've posted in the past that I would love to see seasonal weather changes. Snow storms in the winter, hurricanes during the summer, etc., etc.
On a side note, I would like to not lose control of my ship, when it is sunny with clear skies, just because I've chosen to travel in a Northwesterly direction.
Sometimes you have to turn your wheel almost a full rotation to get your ship to respond and counter the fair-weather drift.Is silly.
At least in the storm, when you turn your wheel your ship responds.
