Less disparity between sea Fort white barrels

  • I don't think they need to be exactly the same throughout the sea forts but the white barrels (where they're either on outside requiring you to use pulley to rotate them in or bottom floor near vault hanging near the lower part with the water inside the gate) have by far the better food more top tier food like pineapples and meat both cooked and uncooked.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there are some sea forts that don't have any (I believe traitors fate in far ne) and some sea forts that have them both outside and inside. I feel like all sea forts should have only one set either inside or out, and all should have at least one for consistency.

I believe I understand where you're coming from here, and my only response is that variety is the spice of life.

Asymmetry has been a fun mechanic that snuck its way into gaming recently. Earliest example I can remember is Evolve but there may have been one earlier than that. I like the idea of the forts being different in ways that aren't cosmetic because it adds a level of tactics to adventure mode PVP. "No, don't go to that sea fort, it doesn't have the food barrels. I know its the closest one but we're really better off going this way instead." By making them tactically and strategically different, it makes you play differently in different parts of the map, which adds variety to the PVE.

I understand that this makes certain outposts better to spawn at than others, or certain hourglass bubbles better than others, but that's what makes the game interesting to me.

  • Yeah. The sea fort by Galleon's Grave usually doesn't have an empty treasure chest and has lower quality foods than the rest.

  • When you thought all Sea Forts loot was the same.

  • @lordqulex I don't mind asymmetry as I said but I think just closer balanced, strange for some to have 2 sets of barrels and others have none. If all had one at least then there would still be the better ones than others.

That's why I said less disparity rather than equal
