I sold my loot to sovereigns, order of the souls and the gold hoarders but my coins stay still. It says on the bottom that item name sold and the music goes on but no money received. What do i do, its been like 1.5 hours and im still waiting.

No it means you were probably stacking. Servers can't keep up so you don't see it. Screen cap before you start for the day when there are multipliers. (G&G, Comm Day, Rush Hour) Especially if you're going to stack and sell a lot all at once. Check back later and compare to your screenshot.

There's always a risk of that on any day, technically.
Like I said, if that notification server goes down then ain't no one getting anything unless they recover that data.
That hasn't happened though as about 15 min from the end of the GH event, the crew sold 400k of GH and it all came in.
So you're better off waiting however long they told you and see if it comes in. If it doesn't than no you won't be getting it.
Sometimes my totals won't update until I relog.

there is a very old bug with alliances where gold doesn't visually show up as something is being sold, typically as the alliance grows there is more of a chance this happens
AFAIK this has a chance of happening when one crew of the alliance left the server but the ship is still there; i.e. when the last crew member of that ship has a disconnect or alt-f4's - in which case it's not only visually: you won't get the gold - period.
If we're in an alliance we first check with some low value loot to see if it counts, else we wait for the 'crew has left alliance' notification.
as usual good ole sea of theives same glitches as four years ago on the game... Not just random stuff, same old [mod edit], last night ashens treasure vault on fetchers rest doesnt open, i find years old complaint, then the fort of the damned gets glitched, cant finish it, finally fixes it self by going across the map and coming back, then now my loot isnt worth anything, havent made a dime after all that work. Second most grinding game to gta and ten times as many problems

It will eventually provide you with the reward, usually wait about 1-2 days. Just keep playing thee game normally, sell without worries, gold rewards will come in soon
