It’s really annoying when random spawns ruin cool story moments.

  • During the latest adventure I had random enemies spawn during the final few exposition scenes, so I couldn’t actually listen to what the characters said. I found it pretty frustrating. It would be nice if Rare disabled them on the islands their adventures take place on.

  • Or just block spawn in range of XXX meters from cutscane for cutscane time + 30s.

  • I've had that issue on the last few adventures as well.
    The NPC is monologuing while phantoms keep spawning around them.

  • yeah this would be a nice quality of life change

    especially because adventures are quite time consuming, people having the experience interrupted and ruined isn't necessary

  • I feel the same with certain parts of the Tall Tales. The shores of gold is a good example where the Pirate Lord congratulates you but can't pay much attention because of some enemies spawning at the end even after the Gold Hoarder is defeated.

    messes with the experience and also messes with screenshots

    taking damage and having the health bar pop up during good moments for a pic isn't fun

  • I guess the issue with doing it for a whole island is that with the right stock of tall tales you could basically turn off random spawns on half the map. Also, the adventure islands already attract enough attention as it is, having even more people hanging out on them completing normal missions without being bothered would sort of suck. I don't know, but I assume having it in cutscenes would give hackers something else to hook into to offer an advantage?
