My wife and I used to play Sea of Thieves together all the time. She on PC, and me on Xbox Series S.
We haven't played in awhile so we re-installed today and the game was unplayable, it was so laggy. We were both rubber banding everywhere off and on.
Both devices are hardwired to the router. We ran speed tests and got over 500Mb. We ran a ping test for 5 minutes and never went over 57ms. I've run connection and network tests on my Xbox. I got similar results with a moderate NAT. This only seems to be affecting Sea of Thieves. But I'm not seeing anyone with the same issue tonight.
If it's not a DDos, anyone have any suggestions?
