I keep this short... I want new Tall Tales Rare... I know Adventures kinda replaced them but it's not the same. I really enjoy Tall Tales and would like to do some new ones so... yeah?
New Tall tales?
@captjackbull tall tales got benched. They don't really do anything for the continued story. Most players don't even bother doing them.
Microsoft numbers
Only 11.6% of players completed A Pirates Life.
Only 3% completed Lord's of the Sea.
Only 11.26% completed Shroudbreaker
Only 0.90% completed all commendations for Shroudbreaker.
Only 2.29% completed The Shores of Gold.
Only 0.37% completed all commendations for the first set of tales to earn the gold curse.There just isn't a return. People barely compete the tall tales once, let alone enough to finish all the commendations.
That being said Tall Tales are great ONCE, just like adventures. However, Tall tales require upkeep that adventures do not.
Want to change Daggger Tooth? Better move a tall tale start location. Want to change Galleons Grave, Better move that tall tale journal. This is part of why I believe Golden Sands was chosen to be the outpost that got attacked and renovated. No tall tales, no tall tale journals, easier to update and leave the existing systems in place.
Look at Cannon Cove, there is stuff there for atleast 2 tall tales, a throne, a beacon, systems in place for veil quests, and ashen lords to spawn. If they want to make changes to this island, they need to adjust all of that. When they introduce an adventure, the technical side only interacts for a couple weeks and then they can pull it.
Sorry for the tangent, but this is part of why we won't see new tales anytime soon.
@captjackbull WE GOT A NEW ONE! I'm excited and I hope you are, too! I grow weary of PVP in my old age...I used to be a PVP fiend. But now I just wanna sail, do puzzles and treasure hunts, and fish. Tall Tales are perfect for a chill sesh. YAY FOR US.
