Lag stepping/ Jitter

    I have an ASUS ROG STRIX gaming laptop. Ryzen 9 RX6800M 32gb ram
    I also have fast and stable broadband.

    I can play star citizen maximum settings with no issues aswell as any other game I play.

    I get occasional stutter and lag stepping playing SOT. The thing that confuses me is that if I put my graphic settings highest the stutter is more common and less common when I set it to rare.

    My ping sometimes spikes very high but in other games this does not happen. The lag stutter etc isn’t too bad but can be annoying and almost never happens when I’ve set it to rare.

    However my gaming laptop is an absolute beast and so far can handle anything thrown at it. SOT isn’t the most graphically demanding game I’ve played so I’m not really sure what the issue is?

    Could it be server related or is it my hardware?
    It’s only SOT this happens so it’s strange.

    The jitter aka rubber banding is ping related to the sever you are on at the time, and in my testing of the game setting with my system microstutters are gone as long as I keep the game fps limit set to 72 fps anything else and it seems to come back.

    The game in general is maxed out in all other settings with my setup.
