Ship Items Not Being Saved

    Logged in to try the new Captaincy update. Named and Bought a sloop, and then spent a bundle of gold saving all of my ship items. When I logged out and back in again, only the Figurehead and Hull had been saved, even though the gold I'd spent to save all items was still gone. I proceeded to resave the missing customisation items and logout again, only to find that everything but the Sails and Capstan had been saved this time. Of course, the gold I'd just spent saving the other items hadn't been reimbursed. Third time's a charm, so I tried again, logged out and this time it looks like all of the items have been saved.

    Lost around 30k gold overall. Not much of a problem for me given I had nearly 8m saved up, but this might be more frustrating for new players so thought I'd post here to surface the issue.

    Same issue. Slowly but surely every time I return to a new session cosmetics have been removed from my ship to the point I'm practically at a default ship again.

    Exactly the same thing happened to me I lost count of how much gold I wasted saving the ship items over and over again

    Don't logout immediately after saving. My kid noticed he lost cosmetic saves if he logged out quickly after saving them.

    Same thing happening to me. The only consistent item saved has been the cannons.

    On a slightly brighter note, the damage from a precious session wasn't saved.

    Hey, at least season 7 wasn't delayed any longer. 🤣

    Same here. Happened to me like 3 times already. Last one - yesterday after that new patch.
    Ship just reset to default when i get in the game. Interesting that in menu it has correct sail (saved one) but then in-game it was default. And in-menu next time sail was default.
    So it seems that the game itself remembers, but something happening during creation of the game session (joining server). And game saves new look (which is default).

    @eranise All my cosmetics reset before the patch. Now? Cosmetics AND trophies (not trinkets, tho).

    Same, every other time I log into my captained ship it has the default new ship loadout and costs me 50,000 to bring back to normal...

    I am always having this issue too. Ship cosmetics not working. Trophies don’t seem to be disappearing as much as before.

    Yep. Happened to me once. I thought maybe I forgot to buy the "save to ship" feature. Second time I recall the money coming out but third time I had 10k, set my newest item, had $5K, logged off and came back the next day with only $5K and item not on ship!
    Spent the $5k again, played a while and then instead of exit to windows i did leave game.
    I sure hope its just the leave game vs log out to windows that saves it because im penniless and while I CAN manually set it before i sail each time, it's a pain in the butt.

    Same issue. Pretty frustrating. Lots of gold wasted. This game is way too grind-y for these issues to be acceptable.

    @ronman32 As far as I know, this was fixed awhile ago. Haven't had any issues changing and saving captain ship cosmetics for awhile but I don't use trinkets other than the Merrick painting and the default Map, so trinkets could have problems still that I'm unaware of.

    I still have this problem!

    All my coins are gone and no ship customization for me...
