I, and any other SoT player on the Steam Deck, would really REALLY appreciate an official Steam Deck controller layout akin to those used with the Xbox controller family.
Analog left stick functionality and B button functionality, specifically.
As it stands now the preset in the Steam Deck does not work at all.

hmmm...idk if that is even worth the trouble. Very doubt they could add support without losing a lot of functions.

Since I received my Steam Deck I haven't used any other device to play it. I mean, I have a killer rig that tromps all over my Deck in the hardware department. Playing SoT on an ultra-wide monitor with everything maxed pulling 120+ FPS is amazing! But, so is sitting on my couch with my wife, sitting on our enclosed front porch (again, with my wife), or in the screened in back porch while my pup romps around in the yard (and, again, with my wife) are irrefutably superior to even that core PC experience.
The sacrifices? The afore mentioned controller issue and 60+ FPS with everything maxed instead of 120+. The smaller screen size is seriously negligible. In fact, I did a ratio measurement of the screen size on the Steam Deck and my monitor at viewing distances to find 1080p and 800p are actually almost the exact same relative viewing size.
