A bird for the bird cage

One thing I've always wanted was to be able to communicate with allies from long distances. On most ships there's a cage for your bird. I was think we could add a bird that you buy with gold and or doubloons and the bird would allow us to communicate with allied ships from a long distance. The bird would also sit in the bird cage and not move. Also you should just like the how you would add cosmetics to your boat. Adding the bird would be similar to that process since it wouldn't make sense to have 3 birds on the boat.
