Can we get a buff to some athena loot?

    Speaking specifically about stuff like this

    End game crates selling for as much as a sapphire gem? Cmon. Can we get some buffs to this? Selling around 2-2.5k would be nice.

    stronghold barrel is the only good item outside of the actual athena chest

    this is what they should be at maybe a bit lower for the lower end stuff. I think just the merch crate and the ancient goblet is garbage and should get a buff, the peculiar relic stuff as well. I just hit PL and to see that stuff selling for low 1k was a let down.

    Yeah I saw it but I'm just talking about individual prices on already existing loot in the regular athena voyage.

    Random guess but with the new voyage I do think we will get new Athena items added into the game so that would make the normal Athena "better" too.

    @liljimothy2306 those are the lowest value athena items and they equal the highest value items of most other factions. I think it is good where it is but they should of mixed those into standard athena voyages more (like 80% minimum should be athena items) but we are getting a new voyage that is supposed to guarantee athena grade 5 by the end of just one so there is that.

    Athena only has 20 levels, if you increase the price and rep the 20 levels should be increased to 50 or 75 aswell.

    It’s was a grind to max it, but that gets you a purpose ^^

    I think Athena Loot is worth enough already.

    I sold a CoL at emi IV earlier and got 28k

    @h0ppyhop this has nothing to do with my op since it requires more rep to get 20 anyways. It's only 20 but the rep is more condensed and the loot gives you less than regular companies would.

    @itz-majman depends how long it is, and how much attention it attracts. The new voyage might be a nice change but I like the normal ones cause of the stealth appeal and it's chill. Plus not everyone wants to kill a fort at the end.

    The second you are in the Athena emissary there will be people looking for you since people are lazy and doesn't wanna do that stuff themselves. Just watch summit, Pace or HitboTC.

    People will most likely choose whatever voyage that grants them the most the fastest even if one or the other might be worth more just because of the ambush chance from other crews, that's my guess at least!

    I'm not trying to bash on your progress here but only being Athena 5 after you have done 3 full voyages isn't something crazy at all. Yes, if you wanna take it slow (and safe) then go ahead, no shame in it at all but missing out on x2.5 multiplier is a huge loss. Especially now when they are raising Athena to 30.

    Before Emissary's was a thing you had to do 58 Athena voyages to get to lvl 10, that's 60-100hrs of grind. It's of course easier now when they added small relics and stuff that grants you Athena rep but that gives you an idea how much longer it will take to reach 30 without ever being in the Athena Emissary.

    @itz-majman it's not a huge loss when you're athena 5 digging up an athena when a reaper 5 ports into your server 2 squares away randomly, sees your emissary, and 4v1's you with no chance. That's a bigger loss.

    I get your point but this has nothing to do with the emissary at all. It's irrelevant. It's about low-end athena loot just being too cheap. No need to overthink it. It's equivalent to the lowest end gem which are littered everywhere. Makes no sense.

    I would be really happy with the PL ghost stuff if it wasn't so underwhelming. I don't like the ghost glowey stuff (except the hull, which doesn't glow ofc) and the ghost hull is terrible. It should just be black without that green hue, and just the emblem on the side should glow. I bought the inky kraken over PL ghost stuff because it looks better to me. Ghost set sucks. People have been complaining about the ghost hull for ages and they never revamped it. I want to spend 500k on the hull but knowing it's not full black is a waste to me.

    You can't compare Athena loot with the other types of loot in the game. No one does Athena for the gold, it's purely to lvl up Athena or to do commendations.

    I honestly don't mind the gold you get for these items. At this point I have enough money to not care about it.

    I do wish Legend Voyages gave you more loot though. Done a Legendary Voyage earlier and only got like 4 items to sell.

    Wow....already lvl 5? Have fun with the higher levels...we will be able to get to 30 with thr new voyage...without emissary, I bet you don’t even get to 20 this year...but this is your choice...

    Oh...it's 58? Before the athena chest buff it was 93 athena voyages...that way I got to lvl 10

    Regular villainous skull is between 900-1200

    The prices are fine...do you want to get highest level within 1 week or what?

    @schwammlgott akshooallie 1,450 is the cap on normal villainous, and I know how rep works at higher levels. Still completely irrelevant to this topic LOL. And no, I just want athena loot to not suck.

    @schwammlgott because the loot is rarer, voyages are long as hell and because it's the reward for being PL.. Why should end game loot be the same as regular loot that is scattered everywhere it makes no sense. I'm not even talking about rep. Anyways agree to disagree. I just think it's stupid that the prices between Athena and normal loot are so similar.

    I have to say I agree with this. Legend loot is something that's suppose to excite players and be something everyone wants to fight for.

    The loot is worth so little and it's so hard to get. It just feels like a grind which isn't fun.

    When a legend voyage is placed down for crews to vote on it should make people happy,. Not cause everyone to groan as they prepare for a grind
