First off, if this is in the wrong thread, I apologize, and thanks to whoever puts it in the right place.
Now, onto the actual topic. I finally got together enough ancient coins to purchase my first pet, and have decided on a Parrot. I guess I'm just cliche, although it and the Monkey can be put in more spots too.
Problem is, I can't decide which Parrot, and was hoping the forums could help. So, which Parrot do you think I should get, and why does it stand out to you over the others?

Just go through the choices and fulfill your preference, there is no wrong choice. It's your companion and when it comes to pet companions in the game there are no wrong choices.
Whatever you pick is going to be AWESOME and it's awesome to hear that you get to pick something nice for yourself today.
@mrat13 What I like to do is look at the pet outfits and think about which ones would look good on certain pets. I like the Bone Crusher pet outfits and so I picked animals that I felt looked good in them.
This is a question only you can answer ... You see them in preview in the Pirate Emporium so the one you like the most will be your choice ... Keep it simple , just follow your Heart ,mate ...Oh , make sure you buy that one with feathers ;) ( *Oh no, look at his stupid smile , you really think that's a good joke hey, Moron george , Jezus , many have been shot for better than yours joke).
@mrat13 That's a tough question, so many to pick from and they are all really nice. I have a number of parrots, each I got for a different reason but the one I take out most often is the Hunter's Call Forager Parrot. He looks like a falcon, a tough no nonsense kind of bird. Not as colorful as the others but I like him best. The Crimson Macaw is perhaps the most stereotypical "pirate" parrot and would make a good first parrot choice if you want a traditional pirate pet.
If you are thinking of a monkey, I just got the Condemned Captain Monkey on sale and I'm glad I did. The colors are perfect and he is very detailed, looks like a little man. Fun and cute but not silly, worth the coins I thought.
I believe any pet you pick will make you happy because they made these little pests with lots of love and every one is special in it's own way. Let us know what you pick!
