Please fix your server's!

    Okay so me and my friends PC and Xbox are having a massive issue to the point that sot is unplayable.

    Lag raggdolling and rubber banding to the point of any movement slings us off the ship or worse.

    We've reduced anything that adds extra things rats fov and more but these problems still remain.

    And I know for a fact that it is not my Wi-Fi because I have premium Wi-Fi meant for gaming.

    And this only occurs on this game.

    I'm running last gen Xbox and if it's due to that I will not be upgrading and instead will be uninstalling the game and demanding a refund.

    This is completely ridiculous

    Have you also tried just playing Xbox servers? I’ve found at times playing pc and Xbox lobbies, I get one that is broken or funky for me. Until I switch to just Xbox lobbies.

    I wouldn't game on any wifi if I could help it. Wired is best.

    @q-chrysalis6052 This is a temporary issue. It wasn't always like this and it won't be for long. If you've kept in the loop about this game, they've announced known issues with server performance and how they plan to deal with it over the coming weeks and months. One of the more immediate changes they're testing out is new server hardware, which should reduce these issues considerably. The SoT servers do a LOT more than when the game was first designed. A lot more things to keep track of and calculate. They are increasing the server hardware specs to handle those additional calculations. They are also looking at completely reworking core mechanics to be more efficient, but that will take longer.
    TLDR: Have a bit of patience. They're working on it.

    Also, there's no such thing as "premium Wi-Fi meant for gaming". You've been suckered into a dumb marketing scheme. Always use a wire to game. Although current-gen wifi can technically handle gigabit+ speeds, the reliability will never be as good as a hardwire due to interference from other electronics in your house.
