Snow bound ship lantern was raised during riddle to solve one passage and it didnt work.

I was doing a thieves haven voyage for Athena and the riddle was at Devils Ridge at the sunstone.
When i raised the lantern nothing happened. I had red or green light at the time. Went to the ship and changed the lantern and the riddle was solved after raising the new lantern I dont know if it was lag or the lantern. Anyone find themselves in game at the same spot and same riddle try
it out and if the ship lantern doesnt work switch it out.
