Will we get a "Hook" Crossover?

I hope we do. It would be great to see those characters make it into the game. I'm still holding out for a giant crocodile that ticks when you get close.

I hope not. Even though all the clues have been pointing toward it being him, I'm hoping what Falcore says is true, that it's just a nod towards him just like Flame heart having his ghost ship inside a volcano cave is a nod to the chuck. I my self am not big fan of crossovers as at least to me eroding the original feel and world of that game. Sea of thieves has its own story, world and universe that is rich and unique but bringing stuff from other franchises takes away that feel as you're merging two worlds into one. It doesn't feel the same when your FOTD isn't being tucked by glow stick and full on tuck outfitted toothpick but by Davy Jones and Peter Pan. At least to me part of the magic of sot is being able to roleplay as my own character in a unique world in which he could be part of, instead of having a hard copy of a character from another franchise taking away that feel of uniqueness.

I’m pretty sure Falcore settled on the Cap’n being inspired on Captain Hook, not necessarily the same character.

I mean, we have Emotes based around it already. The previous Pirate's Life crossover seemed to go over pretty well. As such, I think there is a very real possibility for it (along with some other properties as well).

Granted, I don't think it is really needed. I feel the lore and world of SoT is strong enough to stand on its own. Thus I also don't feel like Pirate's Life was really needed either. But I won't complain if it happens since there are plenty of folks who would really enjoy it (heck, I will probably enjoy it myself, even if I don't think it is much needed).
