Stuck In Trees? Sea of Thieves please do this

  • I have gotten stuck in trees multiple times just on my own, on a sloop, with no one else. I recommend that the devs put in a button that says, "reset pirate" So you don't have to kill yourself or leave the game just to keep playing. It's a shock but I don't always have firebombs on me to kill myself if I need to. SO PLEASE ADD SOME SORT OF BUTTON LIKE THIS!

  • @lanebrain05 Something definitely should be implemented, at least for Tall Tales like Captains of the Damned. It might be abused by PvPers if implemented in adventure mode.

  • @lanebrain05 it should send you to the ferry. be usable every 15 minutes or so.

  • @captain-coel Agreed it should send you to the Ferry. It could be something simple in the menu. Like the Scuttle Ship mechanic...just make it a toggle and it sends you to the Ferry to reset your pirate.

  • Alternate solution. Always carry blunderbombs. That get you out

  • @burnbacon What about the timeS (yes plural) where I empty my pockets and cannon off somewhere to gather supplies..and while landing, I wind up stuck somewhere. This has happened to me at outposts and at seaposts an unusual amount of times. In fact, once, I shot out to gather supplies at Dagger Tooth Outpost, got stuck somehow under the area where you would go into the PL Hideout. I had empty pockets and a ship sailing off with no crewmate and I couldn't get underwater to drown myself. Luckily, I know to "Alt-F4" and reset my pirate that way...but some players - especially Xbox players - may not know how to exit the game and re-join their previous session.

  • @sweetsandman its particularly not intuitive on an xbox. home screen. hamburger button. close app. restart sot.

A send to the ferry option would be so useful.

  • Or Rare could fix the problem and include it in next update. Palm trees to close to each other cause this , it's not rocket science.

  • Drink your tankard of grog and spam jump. Works 99% of the time. Either gets you free or black screens you back to ship.

  • I imagine they don't have this sort of option because it could be abuse-able to get you back to your ship very fast, without having to swim to a mermaid.
