Offer XBOX Exclusive Servers

    Just gonna drop this here. As CS suggested to do so.

    As an XBOX Console Player - I want to know that I am only playing with XBOX players.

    If you can honor some server space allocated only to XBOX players to play against other XBOX players, not just preferred but as the Only option. Meaning a PC player could never join this server - I would sincerely appreciate it.

    Love the game, but the disadvantages of controller skill to KB+M - can be seen drastically. At least from my side of the house.

    You can set your preferences to Xbox only, which tends to do the job almost every time. If you’re worried about it, am orange tag should appear in a corner of your screen at the state of every session that tells you if it’s Xbox only or not.

    As far as I know, it's impossible for a player with KB+M to end up on Xbox servers, though I did hear a rumor that Xbox users that go to Xbox-Only servers can plug in a Mouse and Keyboard and play with that. Though I don't believe that to be fully true, I think you might have just simply been bested by another player.

    The preference is based on availability of players. If there is space on an Xbox Server or enough Xbox players in queue at the time to spin up a new Xbox Server then you will end up in an Xbox Server with the Preference on. Otherwise it will place you in a Mixed Server if the above don't apply.

    This means, if it does fail to get you on an Xbox Server with the Preference set, the alternative would be just not playing the game because there is nowhere available to put you. Rare decided this was bad form, and that if you're trying to play you should be able to play, so they set it to fallback to Mixed Servers if there is no spot available for you right now on an Xbox Server.

    I suppose if that is such a problem they could change it, and people in that pool can potentially experience Arena levels of wait time to actually play sometimes. If that sounds better to you then keep on pushing for it and maybe it will happen.

    Me, I'm gonna keep playing on Mixed only from my Series X and having no problems at all since this game is actually well balanced between KB&M / Controller (as someone who has played it with both). Lack of location based damage really mitigates the advantage one side has over the other, even if I can only manage to hit the edge of your hitbox while you hit a headshot every time we are both getting the same damage output.

    It is already in the game...no pc player or kb&m user can join the xbox servers
    When you spawned into the game, on the left top of the screen it says either "play with everybody..." or "play with xbox..."
    If it's the 2nd one, you are on xboy only servers

    I think xbox servers are actually harder because literally everyone only uses sword spam in pvp.

    First, they do exist, and while it's not a guarantee, I've never not had it work in the times I've used it.

    Second, I'd guess most players don't even know there's a matchmaking option.

    Xbox only servers are filled with 2 types of players...

    -1) Players who think they're safer from PvP.

    -2) Players who hunt those that think they're safer from PvP.

    There are a lot of absolute sweat lords on controller.

    My buddy and I were hunting on Xbox Only servers and we were absolutely on a tear...the one guy yelled at us "D#&N PC players getting in our Xbox servers" as he offered his soul to the ferry. Still one of my favorite moments lol.

    As stated above, there is already the option to set your preference to controller only servers... this will try to match you with players on a similar playing field.

    While this is only a preference and not guaranteed, it does at least go most of the way to give you what you require without much detriment to your game experience.
