Hello Scallywags,
I've bought Sea of Thieves on Steam, to switch over from the one I have from MSFT Store. I've had a fair few issues with the downloads from the store, and Steam is always solid.
My question: Should I, or do I need to uninstall SoT Store version in order to / before I install Steam version?
Windows store VS Steam
No, you can have both installed at the same time. I currently do, because I use the MS version to buy Ancient Coins and use promo codes through microsoft.com and you need to launch the client from the store you buy things through in order to activate them (otherwise I think you need to go through support?).

Oh thank you - I wasn't sure if it was safe to do that.
I'm not sure I can run the version through the store on account of I went to update over the weekend and the thing got about 1gb before my net crashed, and it began again. It got to over 13gb and said it was done, and it hung and wouldn't finish. Much though I love the game, their shaky downloads have been an issue. Steam divides stuff into little blocks and remembers where it was if it stops.
