Just wondering how many pirates have slain the shrouded ghost? I know it's rare but how rare.

depends how a person plays
I see it a lot because a lot of my interactions are fighting higher skill pvpers and quite a few of them have it
just roaming around the sea casually or sinking a bunch of random pvers doesn't lead to a lot of sightings generally
the ghost itself is super duper rare but the title is something I personally see regularly

nah I only play adventure but I play in a way that ends up fighting a lot of people from arena and other higher skilled pvpers
anecdotal and not based in any hard data but when comparing a lot of the people like me that lean towards pve and those that lean or focus entirely on pvp but with similar hours and stats the shrouded for whatever reason leans towards a certain group of pvpers very noticeably.
it doesn't mean anything it's just an interesting coincidence I've long noticed
my hunch is outside of just pure rng it has to do with being around a bit more ships than someone like me which helps increase the chance of having one spawn nearby mixed with more awareness on average than a pver. There are a lot of pvers with a whole lot of hours that still don't pay much attention to things and I wouldn't doubt that more pvers miss a shrouded than pvpers
I have defeated it once! The gally in my screenshot was chasing us but we became friendly after the shrouded ghost spawned on my sloop. Ended up letting the gally get the final blow because they had more cannon power. Screenshot
