Yaaargggg, so once a year everyone has a birthday and we all love to celebrate!!!!! so on our special day our pirate would be able to hit up the clothing shop and find a limited time item like a pirate birthday cone hat. That only lasts 24 hours(or till end of your birthday). Be fun to celebrate and shoutout everyone on their birthday....

what I would do is allow everyone to create a pirate birthday for their pirate to avoid personal information linking up to the game
I would make it to where people could not change the birthday
could also create birthday hill somewhat similar to the special place on plunder valley and at birthday hill there will be a little area and when a person during their birthday goes to it then it lights up and a little birthday party happens where a few ghosts come out and will play happy birthday and there are some balloons that float around
have a little Viva Piñata that people can wack around to drop a little gold and doubloons once for the day
other players can hang as well
the exact spot I had in mind when I thought of where birthday hill should be
on the hill on crescent isle. beautiful sunsets and sunrises, great shade good place for picnics and bbq's, plenty of parking. It's the ultimate sea of thieves birthday hill location

Would feed into that Pirate Profile people have been asking for. Of course a bunch of pirates will be setting their birthday for the day after the update lol. Maybe a cake item/emote or special voyage could be given as an alternate. You have to choose a gift lol

now that you mention it and as I think about it more I think a random roll of a birthday would work better in the same spirit of the pirate selection
or have the pirate birthday as the first day of playing /first day an achievement was earned
We already celebrate SoT's birthday every year - I think that's more than enough.
