over the past few days i have been sailing the seas and every so often i hear this weird chime kinda noise while sailing, ive looked it up but didnt really get any answers, can anyone tell me what this is? i have a clip of it if needed

It is not the FOF. That's a horn, this is a chime that just randomly plays in the world. If I had to compare it to something it would be the chime you get when a contract expires. But this chime seems to have no apparent trigger and you don't have to be looking at anything.

Are you sailing a brigantine and could it by chance be the sounds of steel drums? I play with the music off (usually have my own music playing when I solo) but I remember the brig would play steel drums when I had full sails.
