Ok I'm just gonna get straight into it. Whenever you catch a type of fish that you haven't caught before, it gets added to your fishing book. This tells you where to find the fish, under what conditions to find it, and how many times you've caught it. This is a lot like the fishing books in fortnite and animal crossing and it can be accessed through the pirate log

@galactic-geek Digging through commendations isn't super intuitive. Would be pretty cool if it was more like a tall tale book where each page is dedicated to a fish with your catch stats and some info on said fish.

True. What if all of our menus were done visually via a book? If Viva Piñata can do it, then certainly SoT can...
@galactic-geek thing is you need to cath the fish multiple times to get the commendation. And thats if you decide to sell it. This would be added as soon as you get the fish
