Last resort: Twitch account already linked to a different Xbox Live account.

Hi Everyone,

I've tried everything the support service has to offer so i'm turning to the community to see if there has been a similar case.

I'm trying to link my SoT and Twitch account for the upcoming drops but I keep getting the error "Twitch account already linked to a different Xbox Live account. See this Support article for advice".

Here is a quick bit of info:

1. My Twitch account says it's linked to Sea of Thieves in the Connections section of my account.
2. My Twitch account also says its connected to Xbox Live in the Connections sections of my account.
3. I have followed the support guide multiple times shown here: https://support.seaofthieves.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360036101773-Twitch-Drops-Already-linked-to-an-xbox-live-account-support
4. I've checked my Xbox account is linked to twitch using the Xbox App (Windows), it is correct.
5. My Sea of Thieves account is correct.
6. My Sea of Thieves Email is correct and is exactly the same as my Xbox/Microsoft account email.
7. I have cleared my cache multiple times with no joy.
8. My current gamertag was changed a long time ago (a few times in fact), but this was before Sea of Thieves was a thing.
9. It does not say my twitch account is linked on the Sea of Thieves website.

I'm at a loss and I can't find help anywhere, hoping someone has had this issue and found a solution also! I'd be happy to provide more information if requested.
