@closinghare208 Dude, it's "20 million players to date." It doesn't say SoT has 20 million daily active players, it says they've had 20 million players—total—since it started.

So that includes everyone who downloaded it from Game Pass, played it once, and never played it again, as well as everyone who actually loved it and keeps playing.

Idk if that means it's thriving or dying, but it doesn't seem very good. Especially since we've been in a pandemic for the last year and gaming has been thriving.

Perhaps learn from your previous encounters and don't trust those pirates who spam "Alliance" or "We're Friendly" at first sight ?

Play anyway you want. I do different things each session, sink all in sight, let's go make friends, a mix. Just understand that you need to practice PvP and then the sea is your oyster because you can do what you want to who you want. Let them back stab you, you'll wreck them.
