What if we could really play?

  • I thought it would be nice to be able to really play our instruments with a combination of keys, I don't know how to explain myself well perhaps, to give an example, as for the instruments in The Legend of Zelda Majora's mask. What do you think?

Would be a pretty mess, if 4 or more people try to play the same song...

ABC file format support would be awesome ;)

  • @stundorn something just like this https://youtu.be/goMixt-6fEs

  • Have someone else sing along sometime while you play one of the tunes. I think you will realize why it would be a train wreck.

  • They could mimic Rust's way of using instruments. Granted, it would somewhat require a keyboard and Pc setup. What Rust does it link the notes to the numpad keys linked to actual notes with (+) increasing octave and (enter) decreasing. They also allow creating and storing your own .mid files, of which are preprogramed sequences of the keys. One can essentially create their own music or mimic modern songs.

    hehe nice :D

  • I think that, maybe Rare should add the feature of making beforehand custom songs with notes, and such. for example you pick a instrument (banjo) and start placing notes on a *paper and then later you can save that measure and maybe play it in game?

    *digital paper ofcourse
