@aaronblueeyes The gold M one will be given out after tomorrow to all players that logged in between the dates above and also played in the first week of the game's launch.

Since you played in the first week the team at Rare thought it would be a nice gesture to make sure everyone eligible had all Day One eyepatches!
Consider it an early Christmas Present from Player Support.

I don’t think it’s fair, everyone should get the Day 1 patch! It’s not very inclusive to limit it.
What about the guy who had technical problems and couldn’t connect until day 8?
Or the one who was in a coma and couldn’t play until week 3?
Just let everyone have it so everyone can feel special!

How and where did you get your play start from?
I believe that I started playing on day one (March 20). Trying to figure that out, I have the day one patch, yet I did not get the golden 'M', I got the red 'M'

Bummed that I'll miss out on the gold one. I joined in a few days before the release of the Hungering Deep Update in May 2018, but it's nice to see Rare continuing to celebrate those day one folks!

Now I'm trying to remember if the beta was still playable on the 18-19th and whether I logged in during that time. The retail game wasn't playable prior to the 20th was it?

Well that either shows the first time you played the retail build only, or I didn't log in during the last 2 days of the beta.
@d3adst1ck Ahhh yes, that does only show your stuff from the main retail build of the game. The Day One eyepatch though only counts the main retail build anyway.
@musicmee I don't know what I'm reading this for, my parents didn't let me buy the game until near the end of 2018, so :(

@ninja-naranja It can take up to 72 hours to get to you... But you needed to log in before 10am GMT today.
@musicmee Well I found the real shame that not only did I miss buying that day 1 eyepatch back on April 3rd but no gold M for me. It's what this black hearted scoundrel gets for being the week late to the very early party.

@musicmee I was here for the first week of the game, but didn't pick up the Day One Patch. A few months later, I asked support and they got it for me. I think that may be the reason I don't have the new gold M eyepatch... Should I wait and find out, or should I raise a support ticket?

@musicmee I'll wait and see. I was just worried because I thought maybe the system was automated and maybe It wouldn't show me as eligible because I didn't actually get the eyepatch myself.
