Bought the game on 20/03/18. Loaded it up to get the day one patch. First achievement on 01/04/18.
Have been given the red 1000 day patch.
No gold 1000 day patch.

I didn't have the game on Day 1. I waited for a few updates to drop some extra content.

That's just what I was thinking. See? This is the kind of time limited cosmetics I love to see, and makes sense. Milestone cosmetics are the best!

Also, ICYMI: pirates that sail between now and December 16th (10:00am GMT) will receive a special 1000 Days Eyepatch. As extra thanks, pirates who've been with us since day one will also get a golden 'M' edition eyepatch (delivered next week).
