I have enjoyed this game but I am seriously concerned about the amount of PVP. I would like to just have fun but most games end with another player hunting me down and spawn camping. That's not fun or fair. There needs to be an option for pve or play on a particular server. that way you and your friends can play together and not deal with jerks you spawn camp you just to be a jerk.
PVP behavior
Sell more often. Dig up 2-4 things and sell, or sell every time you are close to an outpost. Hoarders have more to loose. Also if you are sailing with an Emissary flag up, and saving your loot for that, remember that Emissary flags are PvP beacons, and there is even a faction (Reapers) that are designed to hunt for flags.
Also remember:
No loot is yours before you sell it, and half of the value of the loot is in the danger of loosing it.@finrazie said in PVP behavior:

If you're new and or inexperienced you don't hold on to loot if you aren't willing to lose it
outposts are all over the place you sell in between stops
I ran 2 different grade 5 reapers today alone on different servers with different server merges exclusively to gift loot away and I got attacked zero times. This isn't some rare occurrence I see these pvpless servers literally daily. Yes some are a nightmare but most aren't you just leave the ones that are if you don't wanna deal with it
The "I lost 3 hours of loot" thing that ends up in all of these threads goes against the very point you're trying to make. You have hours of no combat. Sell stuff don't hold stuff if it upsets you to lose it
