This is just my own personal expierence and personal opinion. With the expansion of "suggestion maps," i reccomend that RARE incorporate a way that it is possible to delete messages in a bottle missions that my crew or anyone sailing can delete if they have no intention or desire to attempt or complete. This would save space for more important missions the crew is prioritizing do complete and create less confusion of where the mission on the map wheel are. Yes, the color and character images next to each mission had worked, but when collecting a gilded mission after reaching lvl5 in any given emissary, and then stacking them can create alot of confusion. Also, if there are maps that are indeed messages in a bottle that are on some of the same islands that are on my currant voyage, I would have the option to save those to complete them, or if I dont want them, I can simply delete them. Who else in the sea of theives community would like to have this option?

@king-b-524 I'm all for it. This has been brought up multiple times. Perhaps with the new suggestion maps they will implement such a feature.
@betrayme84 i would hope so..... ive never seen it brought up in the community, so I figured I'd try to post something so maybe someone from RARE could view it and get the community behind it. The bottles are annoying. They help, but not always.
@king-b-524 What if every outpost had a small letterbox you trade them in for like 50 gold. It would also explain how the trading companies always get more contracts.

It has been brought up before, just yesterday even.

Or simply do the message in bottles.
Loot is loot, they are simply to do and go forward to commendations.Be careful when you empty barrels if you dislike them so much.
Nobody wants to sail clean across the entire map for a single riddle quest and find out its a low tier chest. I do all my message in the bottle quests when they are actually near by. Screw the ones that is literally on the opposite side of the map from all of the other voyages you have. It's stupid not to be able to just cancel them to clear them out
@saws-n-sins Agreed..... thats why qe should be able to cancel them, and choose which ones to cancel. If I want to do some on my proposed voyage, then I can, and delete the ones I don't want. It should be a simple fix in the programming. I just don't see why this hasn't been in any of the quality of life updates.

I wouldn't call it a simple fix, to be fair. One has to consider the crew, which means you need to setup a vote system for it (as you shouldn't be able to just cancel things out on others, maybe you intend to stay on after they leave and do them even if they don't want to - could be an open Crew and someone decided to troll the others and clear their quests they were doing if no vote). If we are setting up a vote system for it that means we need a UI for that interface for us to interact with to make the vote. If we are making that much investment, they might decide to do just a little more with it as well (like allowing other crews to see out side Voyages) since there could be overlap that makes it a more robust system. This could mean also needing some representation of them in world.
Now, that isn't to say it is the most difficult thing in the world to do compared to some other features, but it isn't like it is just a simple toggle either. At that point it may just mean they have felt they would net better results focusing their efforts on other things.
Still also really want to see this become a thing at some point though cause it would be a really welcome feature for many pirates and play styles (my own included).
