Will not let me connect my SoT with Twitch

I keep getting the same errors while trying to link my Twitch account saying that it is already connected to another Xbox Live account. I followed all the steps on the EAQ page and even logged into my Twitch and disconnected the Xbox account attached to it and reconnected it, but it keeps giving me the same error.
I've been trying to connect my account since the last loot drops on Twitch but to no avail. Can someone please help? I've watched so many streams and nothing at all!
