Random Ghost Ship

  • Since the Ghost ships are such a hit i was thinking that much like the Skelly Ships occasionally maybe a random ghost ship could spawn in to terrorize the seas. It would have to be a higher tier ghost ship to make it more of a challenge but it would be a good addition to the random encounters I think. You could even make it to where they would spawn in with two escorts. Just a thought.

  • @athlondude I don't think this is needed, as we have the OoS voyages for these ships and we don't have a voyage for the skellie ships...it's fine imo

  • I like the general idea of it, as at the moment the only ships attacking you on the seas are player ships and skeleton ships. New types of sailing enemies would be a good thing in my opinion.
While I don't think this ultimately have to be ghost ships, a variety of other types could be cool.
NPC pirate ships, maybe even some abandoned ships crossing the seas, (possibly turning to ghost ships in the night) and many, many more. You'll never run out of new ideas.

Cool idea! I like that, finding an abandoned ship just drifting along waiting to be boarded. Perhaps find the remains of the crew aboard with a quest sending you on search for legendary treasure. Could even make it to where once you accept the quest you become cursed and while you are out and about trying to complete it you get hit with all the bad stuff the game has to offer. The reward would have to be hefty to support such a quest but definitely something to think about. Heck you could go as far as to set the level of difficulty with the size of the ship you get the quest from. The possibilities are infinite!
