Our five year old daughter was playing Sea of Thieves with her daddy and "uncie" Roger on a brig tonight. They rolled up on a sloop Roger harpooned the sloop and soon as the brig lined up with the sloop Freya jumped off onto their ship while shooting the other player in the face she dropped the anchor and proceeded to fire bomb the boat. Our little pirate baby sunk her first ship all on her own meanwhile daddy and Roger stood there staring in awe.

it is always a Joy and a Privilege to play with the Younger Pirates , this week i took the son of my workcomrade under my wings and i was so amazed how very little details brought a laugh of appreciation in my microphone...This little lad is absolutely lost towards all the Kraken stuff from the game , but his voice absolutely hitted the roof when he came face to uhm tentacle with the Kraken him/herself.
And then we killed him and he was over the moon that this beast also dropped treasure , we had to pick it up and set sail to an Outpost where he could immediatly buy some new Kraken stuff...
It was a Joyful afternoon to hear this young pirate have so much fun. It probably made his day , but his Joy and laughter and amazement ,sure made my day too...
Sea of Thieves is simply a Special game .
@clumsy-george That's awesome! My little pirate is over the moon every time she plays she learns something new every session. To hear her laugh and tell us she is helping us makes my day.
Thank you everyone! I read every one of the replies to her they made her day and her first question was " you mean I'm better than alot of big peoples"? I explained to her being better at a game is a good thing but in real life she is equal to everyone else and to always stay humble because she could get bested at anytime. her reply was "if I get killed I'll just try harder next time".

Seriously though, I'm just speechless about this. This really isn't what I'd expect from a kid. Especially when it's a 5yo it's just a real power move.
