Really the new emissary ledger of this month give the same old rewards of the lastest month? Please rare give a reason to play this game
New emissary ledger, old rewards
@sz-zigo 100%. If they don't add new items, I have literally zero reason to put up an emissary flag other than getting the multiplier for selling, and for being hunted down by Reapers.
I really hoped they would do different variations of figureheads, cannons and such.. Hope they will update the rewards this week, if not, I'm very disappointed.
I'm hoping it will take a day or 2 to dish out the rewards and add a new set of rewards to look forward to.
If not, this is just laziness on Rare's part. Seriously. 30 days for the same rewards? The only real incentive for me was to get the exclusive rewards, the first 40 days of rewards feel less special and theres nothing to look forward to for the next 30...
Unless you care about more gold/rep from the flags and commendations, there's no real purpose for the ledger system.
@taternuggets Well, if that is the case, a lot of people will stop representing as Emissaries, which again will leave these casual players out on a ton of commendations such as selling stolen loot and flags.
It has to updated every month, or else everyone that maxed out all factions will not play as Emissaries. Simple as that.
Trading Companies will distribute the rewards shortly after each monthly Ledger closes. Please allow up to 72 hours for this to happen.

The rewards will not change from month to month and will still be achievable by performing well in the next month’s Ledgers. So you’ll have another opportunity to earn rewards if you were late to the game or focusing on other acts of piracy!@cptnpotbeard really? It's so easy to reach the top tier. In the last month i've reach only three times the grade 5 of emissary for order of souls and of merchant alliance ( and completing 3 emissary quest for each of this two companies) and i've largely in top tier. It's too easy to reach the top tier.
@kashmero 100% agree. If the players that spend more time in the seas will stop to raise a emissary flag the entire emissary sistem will die. If there are no more emissaries also the reaper's bone faction will die. This is unbelievable.

They said from the beginning these rewards wouldn't change every month. It's intended to let more people earn more of the rewards without daily grinding. Your disappointment is on you.
I've lost this news, my fault. But if that's their intenction, they can cycle the rewards. For example:
- Month 1: sails
- Month 2: hull
- Month 3: cannons
- Month 4: wheel
- Month 5: capstan
- Month 6: sails (the same of month 1)
- etc, etc
The actual problem is Rare really try to please everyone.. Make monthly hiscore with rewards, players complain about real life issues, then they nerf it to top 25% gets the rewards instead of top 5% in that way all the prestige was lost right there about those sails. Players to this Day still complain about The legendary seadog commendation with the 240 wins in Arena.
If Rare wants to make this game competitive and have some meaning going after high end cosmetics, they need to get some backbone and stop to make everything obtainable to everyone. JESUS players even complained about the arena event where you had 20 DAYS to get 20 WINS and still complains about it being unfair because: "ReAl LiFe StUfF" not everything is meant to be obtained unless you dedicate to get it and accept the challenge as a true scurvy dog 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️@sz-zigo My guess is they didn't expect so many people could achieve top level in multiple factions and it was a bit of a learning experience. Perhaps they'll make changes moving forward.
@sz-zigo Oh I agree completely it's too easy. Honestly that's fine though so people don't feel like they are missing out on cosmetics which is really the only thing to show any progression in this game. I myself got top tier across the board and really only played the first week of the update.

Month 3 hull/figurehead
Month 4 figurehead/cannons

More gold/doubloons? to spend on what? Cosmetics... rewarding players with cosmetics just cuts out the middleman
@burnbacon to be fair, you dont have to be in an alliance to rank up quickly. If you are smart about it, it takes 45 minutes to rank up oos and goldhoarders to grade 5
Athena is a bit harder now (it was easier) and reaper can get grade 5 in about an hour and a half or one lucky murder spree

Let's consider that to all this are added the monthly missions that will eventually return to the game.The seasons are not per month, in any game.
@promotordj Did you not read how it could take about three days in order to get your rewards? It showed it right at the bottom.

Yea because who in their right mind would want to do something in a game that gives them extra risk, reward and reputation.
Plenty of reason to use emissary aside from a leaderboard reward. I swear some of you guys on this forum want all these exclusive rewards but don't actually want to play the game.
@taternuggets sadly it wasn’t even that hard to get there. I played quite a bit but one of our crew only played once a week and still got in the top tier.
