The grappling hook introduces a new weapon that can replace the sword, pistol, or other. It has approximately 1/3 the range of a ship's harpoon and 1/2 the dps of a sword.
It allows pirates to:
- Board if they can manage hitting a sail post or fail to reach a ladder.
- Get back to the ladder if a solo-slooper gets knocked off their moving boat by a cannonball.
- Swing across terrain by shooting mountains and land based structures.
- Grab or steal hard to reach treasure.
- Be a lost oasis spiderman
Fire button shoots the hook. Tapping aim releases it. Holding fire reels it in, and holding aim gives it slack.
